I’ve been hiding a little bit of exciting news. Apartments.com recently asked me to write a series of four articles for their site, focusing on decor and organizing just like I do here!
The first post is available now, and it’s all about maximizing a small closet. Almost every tip can be done quickly, and they’re actually great for any size closet. It’s just more vital if you’ve got serious space limits.
You can read it here, then if you’re wondering about the products shown, I added a source list below. All the cube-related stuff is on sale this week, so grab them while you can!
Over the Door Organizer (LOVE that this has various sized pockets)
I’m going to snag another cube organizer while they are on sale for the closet in the craft room. I use it for holiday storage, but didn’t want to add more permanent shelves. With the cubes, I can keep the existing closet rods in place in case we ever need them. I’m a little giddy at the thought of finally getting that closet under control!
She does this by sharing easy home organization tips, home decor tutorials, and creative ideas to help readers think outside the box, no matter their budget.
Her work has been featured in print in Better Homes & Gardens and Room to Create Magazine, and online by HGTV, House Beautiful, Buzzfeed, & more.
In 2018 & 2019, Melissa was named as a Style Maker by Better Homes & Gardens. In 2019, Polished Habitat was shortlisted for the Amara Blog Awards Best Interior Styling Blog - International.
