I’m not a big fan of spending much cash on decor that will only be around the house for a couple weeks. Well, other than Christmas. Christmas can take my money.
The dilemma is that by the end of January, I’m ready to start adding some spring colors, even though it’s still very winter. I figured out that adding pink pops of Valentine’s Day is the perfect balance. Using free printable art is a perfect solution to work in pink on a budget!
I needed something to replace the Christmas printable on one of the office clipboards. The heart is so much more appropriate for February!
When I was planning out the printable, I read tons of quotes about love trying to find something inspiring. I found a Martin Luther King Jr. quote that really resonated with me. I knew I needed it in my office to read every day. He said “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear. ”
I ended up printing up a year-round metallic version for the bathroom. It’s the perfect reminder to start the day with a heart of love. To make the 8 x 10 print fit better between the mirrors, I picked up a photo mat at Hobby Lobby and used it with an 11 x 14 frame we already owned.
